Verify a licence or album
Scan the barcode on a player licence card or team album to see, live, whether it is valid. No sign-in needed.
Point the camera at the barcode (the square dot pattern) on the licence card or album. It is read automatically and you can keep scanning one card after another.
Scan history (this visit only)
For example a WhatsApp message, an email, or text copied from a PDF. Every verification link, code (like PK7Q-X2M9-D4P) and licence number (like MC26-00042) found in it is checked.
A licence number alone shows validity and a shortened name, but no photo. Scan the barcode (or type the printed code) to see the photo and confirm identity.

How to check a licence
- Find the barcode. It is the small square dot pattern on the player licence card, or on the album front page and each player's card inside it.
- Scan it. Use Camera here, or any phone scanner app that reads Data Matrix codes (it will open a page on this site). If you only have a photo, screenshot or PDF, use Photo / PDF.
- Read the colour and the words. A green VALID banner means the licence is current. Anything else means the player must not be accepted until the Sports Office has confirmed.
- Compare the photo and name with the person presenting the card. A genuine card can still be carried by someone else.
What the results mean
- VALID Genuine, screened and cleared to play.
- NEEDS UPDATING / CHECK Genuine, but something changed: some players in an album were revoked, or the PDF is not the original file.
- REVOKED, EXPIRED, SUPERSEDED, NOT RECOGNISED Do not accept.
- NOT READ CORRECTLY The code was misread or mistyped. Scan or type it again.
Privacy and printing
Only what a gate official needs is shown: photo, name, team, sport, ward and validity. ID numbers, phone numbers, dates of birth and the reasons for a revocation are never displayed. Each check is logged without the full code.
Print a "Scan to verify" poster for the gate or notice board.
